Parking near Colosseum
The Colosseum, one of the seven wonders of the world, is a must-see for anyone visiting Rome. However, finding parking nearby can be tricky. With the EasyPark app, you can research parking alternatives around this iconic monument, which will make finding a parking spot easier.
Parking around Stadio Olimpico
If you're attending a concert or a football match at the famous Stadio Olimpico, EasyPark offers a lot of street parking options close by. The Stadio Olimpico, located in the Foro Italico area in the Vittoria district, at the foot of Monte Mario and north of the city center, is the largest stadium in Rome. The stadium area is easily accessible by car, located outside the city’s Limited Traffic Zones called the ZTLs (Zone a Traffico Limitato) and near the Tangenziale Est.
The Stadio Olimpico hosts numerous events, including all home matches for Roma and Lazio. It is good to keep in mind that the area is often very crowded around the time of the matches and other events and finding an available parking spot can be difficult. Therefore, it can be advisable to park slightly further away from the stadium and continue to the stadium by foot. You can also consider arriving to the stadium by public transport.

Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL) in Rome
Driving in Rome requires special attention to traffic regulations, especially regarding the Limited Traffic Zones, called the ZTL’s (Zone a Traffico Limitato). These areas, mainly located in the city center, are designed to decrease city congestion and pollution as well as to protect the city’s historical areas. Many of the ZTL’s are only accessible to taxis, residents, and disabled vehicles. At the entrance to each ZTL, a sign indicates its status: a green light means you can enter, while a red light signals that the zone is active and vehicle access is not permitted.
Fines for violating this rule can reach up to €330 and will be sent to the vehicle owner. If you're driving a rental car, the fine will likely be sent to the rental company, which will charge you upon your return. Motorcycles and mopeds can circulate and park freely within ZTLs, except in the Tridente area.
The main ZTLs in Rome include:
Tridente
Historic Center
Trastevere
San Lorenzo
Testaccio
Green Zone
With EasyPark, you can easily find parking outside the ZTLs and enjoy the city worry-free!
