- My account is inactive, why?
An account is usually inactive because of an expired credit card or because one or several parking is unpaid.
To activate the account again, the method of payment needs to be updated. It can be added again directly in the app in Menu, then Payment or on the website easypark.fr in Profile and Edit payment details.
If even after updating the method of payment, your actif is still inactive, several reasons can be the cause:
- Credit card blocked for internet payment, or even international payment. You need then to "open" your card.
- It is a new credit card. This one can still be inactive. To activate it, you can make a cash withdrawal at an ATMY or use it to make a purchase in a shop.
- Your reached your max allowed amount or it is insufficient on your account.
- Your bank may have modify or add restrictions without your knowledge.
If any of those reasons is the cause, change your method of payment by using an other credit card or by using your PayPal account. You can also contact directly your bank for more information, specially to check those restrictions.
