General VAT rate change

The general VAT rate will change in Finland on 1 September 2024. The new VAT rate will be applied to goods and services for which the rate before the change has been 24%. 

Will the change affect invoicing?

We have taken into account the change in the VAT rate for the August invoicing period. Parking and charging transactions made before 1 September 2024 will be charged at 24% VAT and any monthly subscriptions for September 2024 will be charged with the new rate of 25.5% VAT.

Will the change affect payment receipts?

We have also taken into account the change in the VAT rate for receipts. Parking and charging transactions made in August 2024 will be charged at 24% VAT. Any monthly subscriptions for September 2024 will be charged with the new VAT rate of 25.5%.
