- What should I do when I got a fine?
Please note that EasyPark doesn't issue parking fines.
On the fine you can always find the reason why you got it and who issued it. If you have violated the parking regulations, the fine is properly issued and you should pay as soon as possible. If the reason is that you "did not had a valid parking ticket", even though you did start a parking in the app, please check the following:
1) License plate: Does the fine and parking in your app have the same license plate? Did you start your parking in the app with the correct license plate?
2) Time: Did you have an active parking in the app during the time when the fine was written?
3) Area code: Did you use the same area code as is stated on the fine?
If the answer is YES to all of the above, you have a chance of getting your money back if you contest the fine. How to contest the fine and who to contact, is always stated on the fine (usually on the back side).
When contesting a parking fine, attach a copy of the receipt in the dispute to the parking operator which you can find by logging in to My Pages. Remember to pay the ticket even if you want to contest it.
